I just discovered an AWESOME deal. The cover of the Big Lots ad for this week 11/7-11/13 has the Polar Express DVD for just $3. All of the Big Lot stores around me were completely sold out, so I found a better deal at Meijer! If you still have that ad, take it to Meijer and ask for a price match. But before you do, go HERE to "clip" the Meijer Mperks Digital $2 off any purchase coupon. Not familiar with Meijer Mperks? Go HERE to watch the video & learn more about it. So, once the cashier adjusts the DVD down to $3, you can click on the MPerks button at checkout and it'll take $2 off! Leaving you to only pay $1.07 with tax for The Polar Express DVD! How awesome is that??? I would recommend calling your local Meijer to make sure they have some in stock before you head out. & Remember you need to take the entire ad with you to get the price matched.
Hi Sharayah, I stopped by on the advice of a mutual friend and went to Big Lots which was sold out so I then took the add to Meijer where I was told they do not match prices from Big Lots since they are a discount store. I was a bit disappointed but I'm sure Big Lots will get it again hopefully before Christmas :) I'm in the Dayton area of Ohio.
ReplyDeleteSarah, I am so sorry you had this issue. I also live in the Dayton area of Ohio & I did this deal myself and it worked flawlessly. I called the Huber Heights Meijer (since it was closest to me) beforehand to make sure they would price match & they said they will price match any general merchandise from a competitor, just bring in the full ad. I took my ad to the Meijer store in Huber Heights, Oh & had no issues whatsoever. I know Target & Walmart also price match as well. You just wouldn't be getting the extra $2 off from the Meijer digital coupon. Again, I am so sorry it didn't work for you. May I ask which Meijer store you went to?
